Who we are and a brief history:

See-clear.org has been offering products via the internet since 2001.  The original recipe was from a famous herbalist named Nicholas Culpepper from the 17th century.  He made a statement about his original formula, that if you are over 40 years old and did not have 20/20 vision, then his product would help you.  He had amazing results from the original recipe.

However, his original recipe had a large amount of cayenne pepper and people from the 17th century were a hardy stock.  They worked more with their bodies and were a strong people.  We in the 21st century are in the "fast lane" so to speak and the original formula needed to be updated for the 21st century people.  The amount of cayenne used in the original product was extremely strong and if the product is not comfortable to use, odds are you wouldn't use it.  By altering the original recipe we have made a product that is easy and comfortable to use.  The cayenne was cut way back, new herbs were added that kill a different array of eye disease than golden seal root alone, and an herb for night vision was added.  The ingredients are:  bayberry bark, bilberry, cayenne, eyebright, golden seal root, passion flower, and red raspberry leaf.

Why a combination of 7 different herbs?:

A combination best addresses the entire complaint of condition.  Several plants can work together in a balanced fashion.  What one herb lacks another can provide, so that the combined action improves what can be accomplished by a single herb.  Example:  Some herbs in the combination kill different types of bacteria, while others act to correct the cause of the symptoms.  Combining herbs can be very effective when the goal is to resolve the cause of the problem.  Otherwise, there may be no long lasting benefit.
